Area residents will have a chance to offer their input into the redistricting process at a meeting next month in Emporia.
The location is pending, but Emporia will have one of four First Congressional District meetings on Nov. 23 between 5:30-7:30 pm.
This is the second round of public comment this year as lawmakers lay the groundwork for the formal redistricting process during the 2022 legislative session. The legislative boundaries are redrawn every decade shortly after the Census numbers are finalized.
