Lyon County Public Health reported 21 new coronavirus cases in its mid-week report.
Active cases increased slightly from 70 Monday to 71 Wednesday. Included in that total are 18 breakthrough cases involving fully vaccinated residents.
Currently, there are 90 deaths and two deaths awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations climbed from three to four.
Lyon County is now at 5,565 total cases since March 2020, when the pandemic started.
