The Emporia State volleyball team was swept by Newman Friday night.
Newman won the match 25-21, 25-12, 25-18.
Freshman Leah Mach led the offense with 9 kills. Rylie Fornelli finished with 16 digs and Ainslee Stepp finished with 14 assists.
The Emporia State volleyball team plays at Central Oklahoma Saturday.
