The State High School Cross Country meets will be held Saturday.
The Emporia High girls team will be competing for a team title at the 5A meet at Augusta.
Elizabeth Willhite will be one of the Lady Spartans competing.
For the Emporia High boys, Jonathan Laudie is making his 2nd trip to state.
Daghyn True will also be competing for the Emporia High boys.
The Northern Heights boys and Chase County girls will be running at the 2A meet at Victoria.
Northern Heights Teagan Hines, Cooper Schroer of Chase County, Brayden Marcotte of Lyndon and Alfonso Rubio of Mission Valley also qualified for the 2A State meet.
Lebos Colin Whalen and Caleb Durst qualified for the 1A State meet. Lily Hudson of Madison and Josie Orear of Olpe will also run in the 1A State meet.
Burlington’s Marijane Huff and Council Groves Jordyn Picolet qualified for the 3A state meet.
