Local issues will be decided during Tuesday’s general election.
Mayor, city council, city commission and school board positions are all on the ballot, and there are several special questions across the KVOE listening area.
For county clerks like Lyon County’s Tammy Vopat, the election culminates a lengthy preparation period — as she detailed on KVOE’s Morning Show on Monday.
Polls Tuesday will be open from 7 am to 7 pm. Voters need a valid photo ID. Voters do not need to wear masks or use social distancing measures, although that is recommended. Election Office staffers will clean touch-screen voting machines after every voter.
KVOE will have complete election coverage starting shortly after the polls close at 7 pm Tuesday.
