New coronavirus cases and recoveries were nearly even in Monday’s report from Lyon County Public Health.
Public Health reported 13 new cases pushing the overall total since late last March to 5,597. 15 recoveries were also reported dropping the active total slightly from 78 to 76.
13 of the active cases are considered breakthroughs meaning infections in fully vaccinated residents.
The number of deaths was unchanged at 90 as was the number of deaths awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment which remains at two. Active hospitalizations dipped from four to three.
