With the CDC approving the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-11 Tuesday, Lyon County Public Health is adding to its already lengthy list of upcoming booster and vaccination clinics.
Public Health will be hosting three vaccination clinics over the course of the month for children ages 5 to 11 with the first taking place at Riverside Elementary on Tuesday, Nov. 16. A second clinic will take place Thursday, Nov. 18 at Walnut Elementary School followed by a third clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Timmerman Elementary.

Second-dose clinics will be held at the same locations three weeks after the initial dose clinic.
All clinics will run from 4-8 pm and will have the Pfizer vaccine available for all children between the ages of 5 and 11 regardless of where they live or which school they attend. Parents can schedule an appointment online by visiting https://publichealth.lyoncounty.org/covid-vaccine-dashboard
If you cannot attend any of the upcoming clinics but would still like your child to be vaccinated, you can schedule an appointment at Flint Hills Community Health Center during normal vaccination hours Tuesdays and Thursdays by calling 620-342-4864.
