Kansas State outscored Pittsburg State 78-59 in an exhibition game Thursday night.
K-State was able to break open an early back-and-forth contest with a pivotal 10-1 run over a 3-minute span late in the first half.
The biggest lead for Kansas State was by 26 in the 2nd half.
The Wildcats had 3 players score in double-figures led by Selton Miguel with 18 points, Logan Landers added 11 and Ismael Massoud finished with 10 points.
Kansas State opens their season next Wednesday when they host Florida A&M.
