Trial is coming next year in an Emporia attempted murder case following a hearing in Lyon County District Court Friday.
Ronald W. Schemm appeared in district court for a pretrial hearing at which time potential jury trial dates of Mar. 14 and Mar. 21 were set. Schemm is accused of trying to kill a woman as well as threatening two men with a gun in mid-August after a reported domestic violence situation in the 900 block of Waverly Way in mid-August.
He’s accused of attempted murder with an alternate count of aggravated assault as well as a separate but related aggravated assault charge.
