A man accused of rape in an Emporia case from this past summer has a final pretrial this week in Lyon County District Court.
Matthew Patterson, age 36, has been charged with five counts overall, including one count of rape of a 9-year-old, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of aggravated indecent liberties. The case stems from alleged activity in late June. The affidavit in the case is sealed.
The pretrial is at 4 pm Wednesday. Trial is tentatively set to begin Nov. 15.
