Kansas State opened the mens basketball season with a 67-57 win over Florida A&M Wednesday night.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they expected a tough challenge.
Kansas State had 3 players score in double figures led by Nijel Pack with 18 points. Mark Smith added 12 points and Selton Miguel added 10 points.
The game featured 7 ties and 12 lead changes.
The Wildcats biggest lead was by 13 points in the 2nd half.
Kansas State will host Omaha Wednesday night.
