The Emporia High girls are preseason ranked 5th in Division I.
4 wrestlers are preseason ranked Evelin Geronimo is ranked 4t at 101 pounds. She was a state qualifier last year.
Madelynn Griffin is ranked 3rd at 126 pounds. She was a 3rd place finisher at State last year.
Virginia Munoz is ranked 2nd at 138 pounds. She was a 4th place finisher at State.
Megan Olson is ranked 5th at 235 pounds. She was a 6th place finisher at State last year.
For the boys, Xerarch Tungjaroenkul is ranked number 1 at 145 pounds for both 5A and all classes. He was a 6th place finisher at State last year.
The Emporia High wrestling teams will hold their first practices on Monday.
