Wednesday was the first day for the start of the signing period for basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball, cross country, track and field.
Emporia State men’s basketball Coach Craig Doty has announced the signing of Jordan Brown a 6-4 guard from Lawrence, Kan. He will play his senior year for Lawrence Free State HS after playing the previous three seasons at Basehor-Linwood HS.
Brown is a two-time Class 5A All-State selection by both the Wichita Eagle and Sports In Kansas while at Basehor-Linwood HS. He scored 885 points combined as a sophomore and junior on his way to First-Team All-United Kansas Conference honors.
Women’s basketball Coach Toby Wynn has announced the signing of two players: Audrey Beaty a 6-2 center from Aubrey, Texas.
Stevie Stinchcomb a 5-7 guard from McAlester, Oklahoma.
Soccer Coach Bryan Sailer has announced the signing of Ella Ruliffson a defender from Manhattan.
Alyssa Carlson is a defender from Topeka who attended Cair Paravel.
Cambell Corini is a Defender from Wichita, Kansas. Cambell attends Andover Central High School.
Mikayla Lampe is a midfielder Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Mikayla attends Lee’s Summit North High School.
Mackenzie Goen is a goalkeeper from Hurst, Texas.
Baseball Coach Seth Wheeler has announced the signing of Jackson Truman an infielder from Lee’s Summit West High School.
Dylan Brisbois is a catcher from Omaha.
