Lyon County’s moderate active case increases continued for the fifth straight reporting period Friday.
Public Health reported 22 new cases Friday afternoon with four recoveries causing the active total to rise from 139 to 157. The overall total now stands at 5,748 cases since late last March.
The number of deaths remains at 92 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations were unchanged at six.
