The Kansas Jayhawks earned their first win in Austin Saturday night defeating Texas 57-56 in overtime.
In the overtime, Texas scored 1st. The Jayhawks then scored and converted on the 2 point conversion for the win.
Kansas led 35-14 at halftime and had to survive a big 2nd half from Texas.
Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels threw 3 touchdown passes on the night.
Running Back Devin Neal scored 3 rushing touchdowns.
Texas quarterback Casey Thompson threw 6 touchdown passes.
The win snapped the Jayhawks’ eight-game losing streak this season and a 56-game losing streak in Big 12 road games.
KU plays at TCU next Saturday.
