As a vaccination partnership between Lyon County Public Health and USD 253 Emporia officially starts with a clinic Tuesday evening, clinics have also been announced for students in USD 252 Southern Lyon County.
Public Health will have two clinics this upcoming Monday, with vaccines available between 9-11 am at Neosho Rapids Elementary and 1-3 pm at Olpe Schools. Pfizer vaccines will be offered for all students.
Community members can also take advantage of the clinics Monday. Public Health will have Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines on hand at both locations.
The clinics for Southern Lyon County are on top of clinics scheduled earlier this month for USD 253 Emporia, including 4-8 pm Tuesday at Riverside Elementary. Clinics are also coming from 4-8 pm Thursday at Walnut Elementary and from 4-8 pm Nov. 23 at Timmerman.
Parents wanting to sign up their children for any of these clinics can go online to www.publichealth.lyoncounty.org. Clinics have not been announced for USD 251 North Lyon County at this time.
