Two University of Kansas athletes have earned weekly Big-12 Honors.
Running Back Devin Neal has been named the football offensive player of the week. Neal rushed for a career-high 143 yards on 24 carries with three touchdowns to lead Kansas to a 57-56 overtime victory at Texas. He also had a receiving touchdown.
Ochai Agbaji is the Big-12 mens basketball player of the week. Agbaji opened the season scoring a career-high 29 points in Kansas’ 87-74 win against Michigan State in the Champions Classic. He scored 25 points in the home-opening win versus Tarleton State. His 54 points were the most for a Jayhawk in the Bill Self era in the first two games of a season.
