The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas Board of Directors has a special meeting this week as it continues the transition to a new leader.
The meeting is set for 5:15 pm Wednesday. The agenda as provided by the RDA includes an unspecified number of executive sessions to discuss personnel, followed by unspecified other business before adjournment. Final action is unlikely.
The RDA has been working towards a new president since June after Kent Heermann, the RDA’s only leader in its 27-year history, announced his retirement effective in mid-January.
