The annual Kansas Children’s Service League Red Stocking Breakfast is coming up next month and tickets for the event are now available for purchase.
Tickets went on sale earlier this week and can be purchased in advance for $12 or at the door the day of the event for $15. All proceeds from the breakfast will stay in the local community to assist a number of programs through KCSL aimed at assisting new families and combating child abuse and neglect according to KCSL Director Bev Long.
In addition to the funds generated, Long says the annual breakfast is a great way for the organization to interact with the local community and grow its local visibility.
Tickets can be purchased at either Lyon County State Bank Location, the KCSL office at 215 West 6th Ave #209 or online at KCSL.org.
Children ten and under will get in for free. Long will join KVOE’s Newsmaker Two Segment Monday, Nov. 29 at 8:20 am to discuss the event further.
