Parents using Lebo Daycare and Preschool for their youngsters will not have that option until after the Thanksgiving break.
USD 243 Lebo-Waverly has announced the facility will remain closed until at least Nov. 29, saying there has been at least one confirmed case of coronavirus among its early childhood programs and the closure is being used as a precaution. The district is not saying whether the case is among a student, parent or staffer.
The district is asking parents to watch for COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches and a recent loss of taste or smell.
