Council Grove Police say a reported threat at Council Grove Junior-Senior High School showed no evidence of any danger to students or staff at any district school.
Police Chief Shawn Wangerin says administrators were made aware of a potential threat by a student Wednesday. As part of an investigation with the support of school administrators, officers arrested one student on suspicion of criminal threat.
The student’s name has not been released.
Wangerin says heightened security measures will continue to ensure ongoing safety of staff and students.
