Emporia Police are looking for the person or people allegedly involved in a trailer theft incident from last week.
Police Capt. Lisa Hayes says an unknown person or unknown people entered the Emporia Church of the Nazarene parking lot, 2931 West 24th, sometime between Nov. 10-12. Those involved are accused of damaging the church’s bus and stealing an enclosed six-foot single-axle trailer.
Hayes says a maroon and dark gray SUV, possibly a Ford Escape, was caught on surveillance video near the church and is considered a vehicle of interest.
