Minor active case upticks continued in Lyon County Monday according to Public Health’s latest COVID-19 data report.
Public Health reported 30 new cases pushing the overall case total to 5,873 since late last March. 25 recoveries were also noted and the active case total increased from 134 to 139 between Friday and Monday.
Of the 139 active cases, 26 are considered breakthroughs meaning infections in fully vaccinated residents. Public Health has identified 330 total collective breakthrough cases.
Deaths were unchanged at 92, however, for the second straight reporting period, the number of deaths awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment increased going from two to four.
Active hospitalizations decreased from four to three.
