A Goddard woman was injured following a vehicle crash east of Emporia Tuesday evening.
Emergency personnel were called to Interstate 35 mile marker 138 southbound shortly before 5:30 pm for a single-vehicle crash. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Megan T. Blasi was traveling south in a 2007 Pontiac G6 when she lost control for unknown reasons. The vehicle then entered the center median before Blasi overcorrected causing the vehicle to enter the north ditch and roll several times.
Blasi was taken to Newman Regional Health with what are being called suspected minor injuries. Blasi was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
