Local residents have a unique opportunity to give both funds and gratitude this holiday season thanks to a new charitable endeavor by Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Lyon County.
The #GiveGratefully fundraiser runs from now until Nov. 30th with residents being asked to give financial donations to support the work of BBBS in the local community. BBBS Serving Lyon County Director Jacque Wellnitz says this is not a typical fundraiser, however, as it not only will help match future bigs and littles, it also allows you to show your gratitude to someone who has made a major impact in your life.
In addition to the opportunity to thank your own role models, Wellnitz says any donations of more than $50 will be matched by the organization. If you would like to donate to the fundraiser you may do so by visiting 4KidsSake.org/givegratefully.
