A last-second shot lifted Dayton to a 74-73 win over the Kansas Jayhawks Friday afternoon in the ESPN Events Invitational semi-finals.
The Jayhawks led by 15 points late in the first half 44-29.
The second half included 3 ties and 7 lead changes with the final change coming at the buzzer.
Kansas Coach Bill Self said they did not execute well in the 2nd half.
Ochai Agbaji led Kansas in scoring with 21 points. Christian Braun and Remy Martin both added 17 points.
The Jayhawks will play Iona in the 3rd place game Sunday with tipoff at 12:00 pm.
