An investigation is underway after a small fire at an Emporia apartment house early Friday.
Emporia Fire was toned out to 1119 Market No. 2 around 4:30 am. The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived, and the damage appears to be small in scope.
Currently, there is no official word on a cause or origination point. Americus and Olpe were initially called as mutual aid but were canceled en route.
