The Emporia State women scored the first 14 points and cruised to a 90-49 win over Peru State Saturday.
Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn saw a lot of positives.
4 players scored in double-figures led by Tre’Zure Jobe with 21 points. She moves into 24th place on the Lady Hornets all-time scoring list with 1,152 points.
Karsen Schultz added 18 points. She said the 39 points off of turnovers was big.
Ehlaina Hartman also scored 18 points. Kali Martin finished with 14 points.
With the win, the Emporia State women improve to 5-1.
They will begin MIAA play Wednesday hosting Nebraska Kearney.
