No injuries were reported and damage estimates are pending after a minor vehicle fire on Neosho Street in Emporia early Sunday evening.
Emporia Fire and Police were called to a residence at 505 Neosho Street shortly around 7:30 pm for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival crews found that a patch of leaves underneath a vehicle parked in the back of the residence had caught fire for currently unknown reasons.
Firefighters had the fire out quickly and prevented it from spreading to the home. Minor damage to an adjacent fence was reported, however, the exact scope of damage to the vehicle
