The Emporia High boys swim and dive team had a 1st place finish and state qualifier at the Topeka West Invitational Wednesday.
Diver Braxton Higgins, the defending 5-1A State champion, finished in 1st place and qualified for state.
The 200 Free Relay team of Rudy Bedolla, William Walker, Logan Woyzaik, and Cam Geitz finished in 10th place.
Rudy Bedolla finished in 11th place in the 50 free and 14th place in the 100 free.
The 400 free relay teams of Cam Geitz, William Walker, Richard Doneker, and Maximus Kelly finished in 12th place.
The Medley relay team of Maximus Kelly, Logan Woydziak, Milo Ovsak, and Rudy Bedolla finished in 13th place.
As a team, Emporia High finished in 10th place.
The Emporia High boys swim and dive team goes to Campus for a meet next Thursday.
