Lyon County deputies have released data from the recently-completed Thanksgiving Safe Arrival enforcement effort.
Deputy Jody Meyers says deputies made 118 enforcement stops between Nov. 20-29. During that time, there were six arrests for DUI-related behavior. There were also 42 speeding citations, 24 unspecified citations and arrests and four safety belt citations.
Meyers says the campaign is over but deputies will remain vigilant in enforcing Kansas traffic safety laws.
