The 86th annual Seasonal Celebration has come to a close.
Emporia High and Emporia Middle School students provided vocal and instrumental holiday music from around the world both Wednesday and Thursday nights, with big crowds at White Auditorium both evenings as the Emporia school district returned to a pre-COVID format after using a virtual performance last year.
Winter break for USD 253 begins Dec. 22.
