A traffic stop in Osage County Thursday led to the arrest of an Ottawa Man on suspicion of drug possession.
According to a news release from Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, deputies conducted a traffic stop at milepost 119 on US Highway 75 just before 3:30 pm Thursday afternoon. During the stop, Wells says narcotics were reportedly located in the vehicle leading to the arrest of 39-year-old Scott Coulter.
Coulter was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Deputies took Coulter to the Osage County Jail where he remains at last word.
Formal charges are pending.
