Emporia Fire and EMS took three people to Newman Regional Health after a wreck in west Emporia on Monday.
Fire and EMS joined Emporia Police and Lyon County deputies at Sixth and Prairie shortly before 6 pm. Crash details are currently pending through Emporia Police and may not be released until at least Tuesday, but two SUVs apparently collided in the intersection.
Condition reports are not immediately available. Traffic had to be diverted around the crash site during the initial medical response and early wreck investigation.
