The Emporia State basketball teams host Northeastern State Saturday night.
The Lady Hornets are 1-3 in the MIAA and are looking to put together a run to close out the pre-Christmas schedule.
Coach Toby Wynn says today against Northeastern State they will need to be good defensively.
The Emporia State men are 2-2 in MIAA play.
Coach Craig Doty says they will need 40 minutes of solid basketball.
Game times are 5:30 for the women and 7:30 for the men. The games will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.

The Kansas Jayhawks host Stephen F. Austin. Tip-off is set for 7 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
Wichita State hosts North Texas State. That game tips off at 3 pm.
