We’re just a little less than a month away from the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Emporia annual meeting.
The 124th meeting will take place on Friday, Jan. 21 in a new location according to Chamber CEO and President Jeanine McKenna.
The evening’s activities will include the annual business meeting, a transition of the board chair position from outgoing chairman Nik Roth to incoming chairperson Carla Barnett and the recognition of chamber award recipients. The business meeting and dinner will take place from 6 to 9 pm with an after-party set to take place from 9 pm to midnight.
