The Kansas Jayhawks closed out 2021 with a 88-61 win over Nevada Wednesday night.
Coach Bill Self said there were a lot of positives.
Christian Braun led the way with a team-high 22 points.
Ochai Agbaji added 16 points, David McCormack and Dajuan Harris both finished with 14 points.
The Jayhawks blew the game open in the 2nd half thanks to a 12-0 run. They would lead by as many as 29 points. With the win, Kansas is now 10-1 for the season.
They have added a game for Saturday. They will now play George Mason with tipoff set for 4 pm.
The Kansas State game vs North Florida was canceled due to Covid issues with North Florida.
The Wichita State game at East Carolina was postponed
Due to covid concerns with and East Carolina.
Kansas State is scheduled to play at Oklahoma on Saturday.
Wichita State is scheduled to host Memphis Saturday.
