The number 6 ranked Kansas Jayhawks suffered their first loss in Big-12 play Saturday losing to Texas Tech 75-67.
The Jayhawks trailed for most of the game. The biggest led for Texas Tech was by 14 points. KUs biggest lead was by 2 points.
The Jayhawks were led in scoring by Ochai Agbagi with 24 points. Jalen Wilson added 10 points and Christian Braun finished with 10 points.
The Jayhawks are scheduled to host Iowa State Tuesday night.
Kansas State was outscored by West Virginia 71-68. The Wildcats led by as many as 17 in the first half but could not hang on for the win.
The Wildcats playing without Coach Bruce Weber and 6 players who are in Covid Protocol had 4 players score in double-figures led by Nijel Pack with 20 points, Mark Smith finished 14 points, Ish Massoud added 13 points and Markquis Nowell scored 10 points.
The Wildcats are scheduled to host TCU Wednesday night.
Wichita State got off to a slow start and never fully recovered in a 76-66 at Houston. The Shockers trailed by as many 15 points in the second half and never held the lead.
The Shockers were led by Tyson Etienne with 11 points and Dexter Dennis added 10 points.
