If your organization is looking for additional funding this year, the Emporia St. Patrick’s Day Committee has the opportunity for you to receive it.
Applications for funding through the committee are now available through any committee member and takes about ten minutes to complete. Applicants must include their organization’s name, mission and an estimate of how much money they would like to receive and what those funds will be used for.
Committee member Barb Lowery, a recent guest of KVOE’s Morning Show, says the application process only takes about ten minutes and can be returned by mail or fax or it can be done on Google Docs. Applications are due by Tuesday, Jan. 25 with applicants to be chosen during a meeting currently set for Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Lowery says funding, as always, will be generated through the committee’s annual slate of St. Patrick’s Day-related activities beginning next month.
The theme for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration is Leprechaun Madness, which was supposed to be the theme for last year’s celebration.
