Wichita State lost a heartbreaker to Tulane 68-67 Wednesday night.
The Shockers led by 14 at halftime but were outscored in the 2nd half 40-25. A last-second shot was waived off by a charging foul.
Tyson Etienne led Wichita State with 20 points, Craig Porter added 18 points and Ricky Council finished with 12 points.
The Shockers will try to pick up that first AAC win Sunday when they host Cincinnati.
