An electric night of music is coming to the Emporia Granada Theatre on Friday night as the Little River Band comes to town.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Friday, bassist and lead vocalist Wayne Nelson said the “vocal power” was important to him when he joined the band in 1980. He says there’s a lot of spontaneity during the band’s shows.
The band is known as much for its massive catalog of hits — “Lonesome Loser,” Reminiscing,” “Cool Change” just a few on the list — to its catchy sound relying heavily on harmony.
Tickets are still available by calling the Granada box office at 620-342-3342 or by going online at www.emporiagranada.com.
