Bowl Challenge winners stop at Waters Hardware to claim gift cards

KVOE and Waters Hardware handed out the winnings from this year’s Bowl Challenge on Friday.

The winner, Felipe Perez, finished with 96 points and got a $500 gift card from Waters. He was grateful to win after playing for several years.

Second-place winner Karen Crouch had 91 points and took second — and a $300 Waters gift card — by way of tiebreaker.

Charla Adams took third for the second straight year, claiming a $200 Waters gift card. She’ll discuss plans for her winnings with her husband, Larry.

Waters manager Lucas Hockenbury says he wishes he could be eligible for the contest.

Participants could drop off their sheets at Waters, Bruffs Sports Bar and Grill, The Liquor Store and The Station. They then got points if they guessed the bowl game winners and also listened to KVOE for special bonus buzzwords.
