The closure of Maynard Early Childhood Center will now continue through the rest of this week.
USD 253 Emporia posted on its website the closure is “due to the continued number of COVID cases and isolations.” Students that are not in isolation can return to the school Monday, based on the current information.
So far, Maynard is the district’s only school closed at this time. Parents who have questions about the ongoing closure can call Maynard at 620-341-2260.
