The Championship games are set for the Flint Hills Shootout.
In the girls’ Championship game it will be Council Grove vs Northern Heights.
Friday night in the semi-finals Council Grove defeated Osage City 42-35. Northern Heights outscored Mission Valley 54-30.
In the boys’ Championship game it will be Council Grove playing Lyndon. In the boys’ semi-finals, Council Grove outscored Osage City 62-57.
Lyndon was a 62-39 winner over Mission Valley.
In the 3rd place games beginning at 3 pm, Osage City girls play Mission Valley. Followed by the Osage City boys playing Mission Valley.
Games begin at 9 am with the 7th place games with Lyndon girls playing West Franklin followed by the Chase County boys playing Northern Heights.
In the 5th place games beginning at noon, the Chase County girls plays Central Heights. Followed by the West Franklin boys playing Central Heights.
The Championship and 3rd place games will be broadcast on Country 101.7FM and on kvoetv at kvoe.com.
In Lyon County League play last night Madison defeated Hartford 32-28 in the girls game and 40-26 in the boys game.
