The Kansas Jayhawks rallied for a 16 point halftime deficit to outscore Kansas State 78-75.
The Wildcats led 50-34 at halftime led by Nijel Pack who scored 22 of his game-high 35 points in the first half.
Kansas would use a 9-0 run to close out the game and earn the win.
KU coach Bill Self said they played tough.
The Jayhawks were led by Ochai Agbaji with 29 points, Jalen Wilson added 16 points and 10 rebounds, David McCormack finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds and Christian Braun scored 11 points.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they lost the game after being outrebounded 45-23.
Markquis Nowell added 16 points and Selton Miguel finished with 11 points for Kansas State.
The Jayhawks will host Texas Tech Monday night. Kansas State plays at Baylor Tuesday night.
