The USD 253 Emporia Board of Education has academic achievement, COVID-19 updates and health insurance on the agenda for its upcoming regular meeting.
Board members will get the latest academic report from FastBridge, looking specifically at the number of low-risk and postsecondary-ready students in reading and/or math. That topic, along with a talking point on remote access to instruction, will overlap the district’s latest update on COVID-19 response.
Separate from those items, board members will discuss a request for proposal for health insurance consulting. Two executive sessions are planned, one for negotiations and one for the regular evaluation of Superintendent Allison Anderson-Harder.
The meeting is at 6:30 pm Wednesday at Mary Herbert.
