Wichita State picked up their first American Conference win Wednesday night outscoring Central Florida 84-79.
Ricky Council IV scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Shockers.
Morris Udeze added 16 points and Dexter Dennis finished with 13 points.
Wichita State plays at Tulane Saturday.
