Five individuals and 1 team were added to the Emporia State Hall of Honor Saturday evening.
Added to the Hall were:
All-American Softball pitcher Samantha Sheeley. She helped lead the Emporia State softball team to the 2008 National Championship game.
Miranda Campbell a 3 time All-American with the softball team. She was also the National Player of the Year in 2010.
Ting Liu a 2 time All-American volleyball player. She helped lead the Emporia State volleyball team to the Regional Championship match in 2009.
The late Arica Shepard Ahlvers a three-time All-American Volleyball player. She was also a part of the 2009 team that played for the regional championship.
Steve Sauder as an honorary member.
Along with the 1981 softball team that played in the first-ever NAIA Softball National tournament championship game.
