One person was taken to Newman Regional Health after a two-vehicle wreck in far east Emporia early Sunday evening.
Emporia Police and Emporia Fire responded to Sixth and Weaver around 5 pm after a pickup collided with a bicycle just east of the intersection. Emporia EMS took the cyclist, a man, to the hospital with apparently non-life-threatening injuries. The pickup driver was not hurt.
Emporia Police are investigating. Names have not been released.
