Emporia city commissioners will meet in an action session Wednesday.
Commissioners could approve a hearing date to establish a Rural Housing Incentive District for over 16 acres of property near South Exchange and Soden’s Road as part of the so-called Kretsinger Tract. Commissioners have approved a Housing Opportunity Overlay District for the property earlier this year.
Also during the regular portion of the agenda, commissioners could approve a maintenance agreement with the Emporia Public Library.
During the consent agenda portion of the meeting, where several items can be handled with one vote, commissioners could approve two change orders for the Public Works Center’s pavement improvement project.
The meeting starts at 1:30 pm at the City Commission Chambers at White Auditorium.
